Fall Natural Hair Must Haves (Blogtober 17)

Lately I have been experimenting with different hair products to provide the right moisture for my hair. Today I will be discussing some of my favorite natural hair must haves for fall. And with the weather changing I normally keep my hair in a protective styloe for the most part.
1. Coconut Oil - I love to seal in the moisture with coconut oil .  Its affordable and last a long time , a little goes a long way.  2. Castor Oil- Every night I love to massage my hair with castor oil , to promote hair growth and stimulate my scalp.
3. Conditioning Grease- I use a small amount to add moisture to my hair and my hair stays soft and moisturized.  4. Gel- I use the Shea Moisture to lock in the moisture and this gel does not flake up either. 5. Conditioner- For conditioner I use the Tresseme brand  , its affordable and does the job.
I dont like to use a lot of hair products in my regimen and I normally will wash my hair once a week and moisturize daily . What are your favorite hair must haves…

Favorite Fall Memory 2017 (Blogtober 15)

Hey guys , today I will be writing about my favorite fall memory. My favorite fall memory is when I was younger and I lived in Virginia , for each season the weather corresponded with it. During the fall time we  would always decorate our house with scarecrows and pumpkins it was always exciting , and made the season special. Then my mom would schedule to take us to the different fall festivities the had going on all month long. And she would do different fall related activities with us And then the closer it got to Halloween we would make goodies bags to give out for Halloween , it was so fun because I would sneak candy . Life was also so much simpler people were caught up in social media , people were actually out getting involved in the community. I really do cherish every moment of my childhood.  What is your favorite fall memory ? -xo kia Follow me on my social media to keep up with me ; Facebook :

Blogtober 12 Fall Bucketlist and Aspirations

Here are a couple things I want to challenge myself to do this fall. I really want to get into the habit of making goals(bucket list ) of things I want to achieve and vision myself doing it. So without further ado here are some of my ideas for my fall bucketlist and aspirations :
1. Have a Disney Halloween throwback marathon of all my favorite childhood movies. And if you want you can do it with friends while baking or crafting.
2. Go to a pumpkin patch , I know this is kind of cheesy but I really want to take pictures in the pumpkin patch. And also go through a corn maze and pick out pumpkins. Here in Arizona we have an Apple Annie's and during the fall they have a variety of fall festivities going on.
3. Get into the habit of reading more, I feel like majority of the time I spend way to much time on my cell phone or to much watching tv. Its a nice treat every once in a while, and I feel like reading help you to be intellectual because you are learning new words.
4. Go for eveni…

Starbucks Fall Drinks Review (2017) (Blogtober 11)

As the weather gets colder the anticipation for Starbucks fall drink is high. People get so excited and in the fall spirit because of the drinks. This year Starbucks released two new fall flavors in addition to the originals.
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte- Every goes crazy for pumpkin , personally I like the pumpkin spice even though I would add more pumpkin sauce to get it that pumpkin flavor. 2. Pumpkin Chai Latte- I love the pumpkin spice chai latte even though I dont care for the taste of chai by itself. The pumpkin flavor and chai gives you the taste of fall, I would recommend getting it iced. 3. Maple Pecan Latte- Defiantly a must try drink this fall , it taste like pecan pralines and I love the autumn topping. I always do have white mocha and half maple syrup to bring out more of the maple flavor. 4. Salt Caramel Mocha- This is one of my go to drinks even though you can get it year round without the salt its not the same. The toffenut and mocha its the perfect combination and with th…

Blogtober 5 Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful

You are beautiful , the way you carry your confidence without a care in the world makes you unique. The way you stand out to be different makes you brave. The way you embrace others with love makes you special. Everyone is beautiful and unique in there own special way. Its refreshing to hear positivity once in a while especially with everything going on in the world. I wish I had the knowledge and confidence I have  now as a child , because it would have save me from the feelings of I am not good enough.  You have the power to create your destiny . You have the power to achieve the goals you want to achieve. Don't let others discourage you from reaching for the stars even if it is impossible. Its so easy to get distracted from reaching your goals by simply hiccups that can be avoided with a positive approach. I'm not going to lie there have been plenty of times where I just wanted to give up or felt that there was no possible way that I will be able to do what I love. But I …

Blogtober Day 4 (Surviving Your Wisdom Teeth Removal )

Recently I got my wisdom teeth remove, now last week if you had ask me was if I was scared I would have told you yes. But , I am here to tell you for me personal it did not hurt and how I saw people react in videos was not the case for me. I got my wisdom teeth removed Thursday September 21 at 900 the procedure didn't take that long either. The night before the procedure I could not eat for at least eight hours prior to the procedure it was a piece of cake at first, but that when I became extremely thirsty.  We had to arrive at the office to check in at 8:45 they went over the last minute information and to schedule a follow up. I had three wisdom teeth that was being removed and one was impacted. I chose to be asleep during the procedure and I even asked to keep my teeth. So at 9:00 the nurse called me to the back to get my vitals and start the iv process. I thought getting the iv installed was going to hurt but it didnt , the doctor used a numbing spray then proceeding to inser…

Blogtober 3 Exploring Bisbee and Family Fun

Last weekend I had the pleasure of exploring Bisbee for my mom's birthday. Bisbee is an old mining town and has a lot of creative art and places. I was brave enough to film some of the outing for you guys to enjoy . I am still getting use to the whole filming in public thingie. We also visit a local soap shop name Bisbee Soap & Sundry its almost like lush but locally owned. I bought two bath bombs Gingerbread , and Bamboo Lotus , I also purchased soap Charcoal Detox.
It was nice walking around and seeing the old vintage building and looking at the breathtaking view. After that we went bowling, and I have not bowled in a while it was so much fun. Even though I lost and still cant get the concept of how to roll the ball down the middle without getting a gutterball , it was still fun. Sunday we headed to drop my youngest sister off at college but before we dropped her off we stopped at Raising Canes. It was my first time eating there and I heard alot of people talking about. I …
